Deepin 15.4.1 is not a minor update!

21 July 2017 should be called the day when Deepin Let Loose The Beauty Called Deepin 15.4.1

For the last few weeks people were able to update there computer with about a gigabyte of updates to the latest version, but if you use a virtual machine you would be greeted with options of 2 modes and no way to click it, but they fixed it in the official ISO, and man is that function the one to look it, it is basically full graphics which eats more memory or less graphics with less memory, about 200 mb.
This is a great move in my eyes, as it helps many computers will less ram and as it is their first release with it, not everything works yet.

Other things that stood out for me was the amazing new launcher, options, I show how to enable it in my videos.

The software center, also got more apps and many of them are updated, according to what I saw.

Deepin is also an official partner with crossover, so every Deepin Operating System has a free copy of Crossover 16, which is amazing.

One thing I was slightly disappointed with, with this release that the default Skype is still 4.3 and not the new Skype For Linux.

Things that always worried me about Deepin is that they are based in China, and how they pay their developers and things like this, but last night when I search their site for the new release I found someone asked me question and a guy answered, it, and I would like to share a link to that specific answered in the thread. https://bbs.deepin.org/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=131637&page=1&authorid=61528

Download, I would advise you to download Deepin from their Google Drive option, very fast, and their software repost are much quicker and easy to switch you can look on their blog or at my video where I share my comments.

Other new things are all the latest Deepin Apps and WPS office and others are updated.

My Thoughts On Deepin 15.4.1:

BlankOn X Tamnora A Stunning Work in Progress

BlankOn X Tamnora is a beautiful operating in the making.

Based on Debian, Gnome with lots of awesome extensions and from Indonesia.

There are many things I like about this operating system,  it is unique, great distribution as the creators thought out of the box, with lots of stunning panels and sweet looking in general.

But there are a few issues, as it is a work in action. It is only available in Indonesian and English, for system languages, but input languages are like normal.
Also, great ideas, the panel is awesome the system settings in the right panel is out of the world, but its a pity that it just opens in the normal GNOME system settings, would love to see it open in the panel.  But it is so good looking and love when operating systems, are different and unique!  Thank you creators!

In the menu you can also do Google and Wiki searches which is interesting, and many will like it and many won't but it is a great idea!

Zorin 12.1 "Lite" What Windows Should Be

Zorin 12.1 Lite has just been released and I think they have just hit the right note, for Windows 7 lovers, who is tired of their current operating system and have heard about Linux and want to give it ago, but like the framework of windows 7.

It is a beautiful operating system, and the 12.1 series is truly a major step up from the 12 series.

It is based on Ubuntu 16.04, so most familiar apps will work on it, all those who works on Ubuntu and it will also be supported until April 2021.

Zorin 12.1 Lite is ideal for new users and also in companies where the staff are "forced" to use Linux, but actually want Windows, trust me I know :)))

What I like about their Lite version more than the rest is that you can truly customize the size of your desktop icons better than in the other releases as this is based on the XFCE Desktop Environment.
